Cabin Operating Panel (COP)
Cabin Operating Panel is a part of an elevator which is used for operating elevators from inside the cabin, there are many designs and finishes available for the COP, mostly they are made of hairline stainless steel, etched finishes stainless steel, mirror finishes stainless steel, golden stainless steel, the COP contain buttons, wirings and switches for lights and other functions. We have advanced and modern technology COP’s which are surface mounted types, so no need of any wall cutting or patching inside cabin also and these are available in economical and slim sizes and give advance and lovely looks to elevator cabins.
Push Buttons
Cabin operation panel push buttons are normally 24VDC operated, these push buttons are used for floor numbers calling functions, door open and door close functions, alarm functions, emergency stop functions. Each button with separate wiring to connect to the cabin top maintenance box and to elevator main control system,
The cabin operating panel push buttons are with LED illumination which show indication about it on and off conditions, the buttons are available in many types, sizes, designs and colors. And its LED illuminations are also available in many colors.
Display Indicator
There are two types of communication protocols used display system of the COP’s serial communication and parallel communication. In Pakistan normally parallel communication systems are used, which support floor display board with 7 Segment, Decimal, Binary and so on.
Displays are used to show floor indicator, elevator running directions indicator, over-load indicator, and elevator operational status. These display indicators are available in display types like 7 Segment Digit, Dot Matrix Digit, LCD Screen and TFT Screen.
Face Plate
These COP’s plate are made of Stainless Steel and Acrylic Materials, these are manufactured by casting and laser cutting machines which give extra beauty to its finishes. Access Control Device
COP’s are also available with access control devices which helps to minimize and control the elevator access, the special features helps client to grant access to authorize personals by Finger Prints, Key or Access Cards and RFIDs.
Intercom System
There is an intercom system used inside COP for communication from cabin to machine room, pit. It provides voice communication within elevator hoist-way system, this is available with extra feature to provide intercom in security or maintenance room.
