There are many types of doors used in elevators are automatics, semi- automatics and manual operating.

Automatic Doors

Automatic doors are mostly sliding doors which is operated by a motors and drive with a VVVF system so it can be operated smoothly, can be adjusted operating time and speed. There are many types of automatic doors like center opening , telescopic with various door panels two panels, four panels and six panels are the standard.

In automatic doors system of elevators it has two doors one called cabin drive/operator its installed with cabin and other is landing door device installed at landing floor. cabin operator synchronously operates the landing door when elevator arrived at designated landing floor.
